Fete De La Musique (also known as “World Music Day”) is a global event that was started by the Minister of Culture of France in 1982 to celebrate music and community. The Georgetown BID and the Embassy of France-Villa Albertine partnered to host the 2024 Fête de la Musique – World Music Day – the first-ever edition in the commercial district of Georgetown DC.
